Cancellation and Refunds

The Meridian Villa offers a standard cancellation policy designed to balance the interests of both hosts and guests. This policy outlines the refund amount and the timeframe required for cancellation to be eligible for a full refund. Please review the policy for complete details.

Guests are requested to read and understand the Cancellation, Refund, Relocation, Reschedulement and other Policies applicable before making a booking.

Standard Cancellation Policy

If booking is cancelled 21 days before checkin date, guests are entitled to a full refund. While, 50% refund if cancelled 21-11 days before checkin date.

Any cancellations made less than 11 days before your checkin date, would not be refunded.A nominal cancellation fee (5%) is charged for processing the refund. While, refund in travel credits have no processing fee.

Refunds for cancellations would only be processed in the form of travel credits if any amount of travel credits is utilised for booking.

If any non cancellable coupon is used while booking, all cancellation policies are overridden. The guest is not entitled to any refund while rescheduling is possible*

Cancellation policy is overridden and cancellaton is not allowed for peak dates that is Independence day (15th Aug), Diwali (10th Nov to 20th Nov), Christmas and New year (24th Dec to 2nd Jan) and Republic day (26th Jan) will not be accepted.

In case of extreme last-minute cancellations due to extenuating circumstances, Guests will be refunded 85% of booking amount if The Meridian Villa gets another booking for the same date(s). If not, Guests will not be given a refund, and the cancellation will be treated as a no-show.

If the Guest has made a partial payment, he/she is entitled to no refund whatsoever.

Terms & Conditions

In case of any refunds that The Meridian Villa owes Guest(s), the processing shall be completed within 5-7 working days. A nominal cancellation fee of 5% shall be levied for refunds processed by The Meridian Villa . This is primarily levied to cover payment gateway charges and minimal processing charges.

GST at applicable rates will be charged on this cancellation fee.

A reservation is considered officially 'cancelled' when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard ➞ Your Trips ➞ Cancel, or he/she calls our Reservations Agent and confirms the same.

If the guest checks-in and decides to leave early, any refund of the accommodation fee and cleaning fee will be decided and settled as considered appropriate by The Meridian Villa .

Refund for Extra Charges

In case of any change in group size, the extra bedding charges collected can be refunded if intimated to The Meridian Villa minimum 2 days prior to check-in. As with all refunds a 5% processing fee shall be levied for processing the refund. No refund for extra bedding charges shall be processed if informed within 2 days prior check-in or after check-in.

Cancellation by The Meridian Villa

In extreme situations, The Meridian Villa may need to cancel or reschedule a Booking. In such case, Guest have an option to avail 100% refund (to the payment method used at the time of booking or UPI within 8 hours) or Travel Credit to the extent of the full amount paid in the original Booking + 25% value (excluding GST) of the original Booking. This Travel Credit can be used by the Guest for a booking on The Meridian Villa website within 360 days from the date of availing such Travel Credit.

Reschedule Policy

Bookings can be rescheduled only at the same home.

If the tariff of the new dates is higher than the tariffs of the original booking, the difference is payable to The Meridian Villa to confirm the new dates.

The Meridian Villa allows reschedulement only up to 2 days prior to check-in.

The Meridian Villa charges no reschedulement charge if the booking is rescheduled within 12 hours of payment (Not valid on stays where check-in is within 7 days of booking).

The Meridian Villa charges 15% reschedulement charge + taxes if he/she reschedules the confirmed booking upto 7 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM).

The Meridian Villa charges 50% reschedulement charge + taxes if he/she reschedules the confirmed booking upto 2 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM).

Reschedulement charge is applicable, every time a booking is rescheduled.

Relocation Policy

Relocation (to another Home) is not permitted, once a booking is confirmed.

Early Check-in and Late Check-out Policy

Our standard check-in time is 1 pm and check-out time is 11 am.

We'd be happy to offer you a complimentary early check-in by 12 noon, provided there's no booking at the villa for the previous night. Please confirm with us a day prior to the check-in. In case you wish to avail an earlier check-in (earliest possible is 9:00 am), charges are applicable. The rate is 20% of the tariff for that night.

We'd be happy to offer a complimentary late check-out by 12:00 PM if there's no booking at the villa on the day of your checkout. However, we can only let you know by 8 am on your checkout date as we do accept instant online and last-minute bookings.

In case you wish to avail a further extended checkout (post 12:00 Pm), charges are applicable. The rate is 20% of the tariff for that night for a Checkout up to 3 pm, and 40% upto 6 pm. Full night charges apply thereafter.

It is at the discretion of The Meridian Villa, whether to offer early check-in or late check-out.

Processing Refunds

In case of any refunds that The Meridian Villa owes Guest(s), the processing shall be completed within 5-7 working days.

A nominal cancellation fee of 5% shall be levied for processing refunds by The Meridian Villa. This is levied to cover payment gateway charges along with a minimal processing charge.
